Hope Came

Hope came to me today
in a padded envelope
across country.

Hope fell out in pieces
painted shimmery purple
a treasured gift.

Hope was put together
in a forsaken bedroom
to remind me.

Hope was sent from a heart
who knows herself the hurting
yet still holds on.

Hope is always present
I was reminded today
by one who cares.

Thank you, Sweet Baby Do-Mine. Your gift touched my heart more than you know. I love you so much, girl. We will hold onto hope together. Thank you for sending me some of yours!
