These little girls have grown from little bitties being pushed in baby swings by Mommy to big girls who can cut and glue and make fun collages with Mommy.
Mommy is still growing in patience.
Four years ago while pushing littles in swings, she stuggled to be present and think she was doing enough just by being there. There was so much to do everywhere else.
She pushed swings.
Last Monday evening while sitting at the table with little girls, scissors, and glue (Don’t lick the glue stick, Mae!), she struggled to be present and think she was doing enough just by helping them and paying attention. There was so much to do in the kitchen.
She sat at the table and cut and glued.
We are all still growing.
