Friendship Friday ~ Cross-Generational Friendship

There are so many people that you don’t get to spend time with anyone.

A sister-in-law and I were grabbing a few quiet moments in the midst of muchness to catch up on life, if that’s possible.

The past two weeks have been full of family and friendship and love and stress and big emotions and tears and joy and grief.

In addition to my own flock returning home for the holidays, all of my siblings returned to the ‘burg, joined by spouses, children, and others. It was a big, big time.

In the midst of the big times were some sweet, sweet little ones like pat-a-cake play with Grammy and Thomas.

It takes a lot of concentration to position hands just so.

The clapping rhythm and rhyme are important, as well.

Then, of course, there is the big finish.

Yay! Big claps for a job well done.

These, my friends, are the moments to treasure.

Cherishing “moments” at this end! So good to watch for them and then enjoy! So sweet to see Great grandma and great grandson having fun together!
