Walking in Darkness, Seeking the Light

The people who walk in darkness will see a great light.
For those who live in a land of deep darkness, a light will shine.
Isaiah 9:2 NLT

Composting the Heart will take a turn during the Advent season from Glimpses of Gratitude to Walking in Darkness, Seeking the Light.

Many are walking in darkness today, waiting for light to shine. Many slip quickly from the place of light into the darkness, often without warning.

Yesterday was a dark day for me. After walking Friday’s new path, I was hijacked down an alley of depression. I don’t have answers. I try to hold on to hope.

It feels as if Christmas is barreling down fast and furiously, and with it the urgency to do more, be more, get more accomplished.

It is hard for me to accept all that I will not do, be, or accomplish this season.

There are complex paths to walk, and for some the first step is getting out of bed.

Yesterday that was my struggle.

It is for those dear ones I write. It is for myself. It is for all of us waiting with expectant hope.

Thanks for heart-composting with me! I appreciate your words.
