How long must I take counsel in my soul and have sorrow in my heart all the day?
Psalm 13:2

Taking counsel in my soul. What does that even mean? Or look like?

Is it that space where all I can do is inhabit my heart and all that is buried within? Holding my personal sorrow?

I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me.
Psalm 13:6

And yet, I sing. I will sing.

She [wisdom] is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her;
those who hold her fast are called blessed.
Proverbs 3:18

And I will lay hold of wisdom. And I will trust and hold fast to what God is doing. In the overwhelmingness, I will hold fast and be held.
