We are woken way too early on Christmas morning. When I make it to the living room, a fun activity awaits…a giant candy-cane search.
Giant candy-canes are placed about the room, a nod to the tradition of someone getting me one from the dollar tree each year.
Once everyone is assembled, gift opening commences. This is how it looks with 11 people crammed into a small space…
I realize that three of us are missing, but you get the idea. Some of us are claustrophobic. Some are passing out gifts. Some need to grab space.
After gifts are opened, family breakfast is enjoyed.
Coming from a large family, myself, I remember the chaos of Christmas. It was delightful. Maybe not for mom and dad, I don’t know. I love the picture of all of you. It is quite good of everyone. Beautiful faces. 🙂
